Resilient Colocation

Resilient Colocation

Working together with our customers we can help to provide a premium colocation solution in terms of resilience and value for money. This solution can be based solely within Manchester, within London or between Manchester and London utilising different data centres for complete resilience.

Data centre sites can be connected up using Metro Ethernet and cities can be connected up using diverse Long Reach Ethernet. We can deliver independent IP transit to Manchester and London, thus each city becomes a backup transit site to the other.

For a detailed look at how a redundant colocation solution could work for you, please take a look below:

Dual Site Advantages

Data Centre Redundancy

Customers can spread their equipment between any of our Colocation facilities thus minimising the risk of equipment failures.

Data Centre Connectivity

Metro Ethernet is available between all of our Date Centre sites. Most of the routes in London and Manchester are on diverse dark fibre rings. London and Manchester connectivity is available over Long Reach Ethernet with a fully diverse protected service or as an unprotected service.

IP Transit

We can deliver multihomed redundant IP transit to all locations using four different tier 1 providers.

Cost Effective

Our Greenheys data centre has been designed as a low cost option for data redundancy. Many of our customer use this facility to host their secondary servers and use the higher specification data centres for their primary equipment.
