The enterprise class Manchester Two data centre is Manchester’s largest carrier neutral colocation facility and at 27,000sq ft brings the total amount of colocation space operated by UKGrid in Manchester to over 50,000sq ft, cementing our position as the largest provider of carrier neutral colocation space in the North.

Located in the heart of Manchester, the 27,000sq ft Manchester Two @ Parkway colocation facility will accommodate over 700 server racks over all three floors of the building. Space is available from Q1 2011 with preferential launch rates available during the opening phase. Flexible colocation solutions with clear and competitive pricing are available at Manchester Two @ Parkway for quarter and single racks up to large footprints within larger dedicated client areas.

Manchester Two has 2 x HV supplies serviced from independent upstream primary substations enabling the facility to sustain high powered high availability racks

N+1 Generators can take the full load of the building should a mains power failure occur

Chloride energy efficient UPS systems provide N+2 uninterruptible power to our racks with an 10 minute autonomy providing power protection from spikes and mains failures

N+1 DC power available

Tier 2 and Tier 3 colocation space available
